These are our reasons for declining to commence proceedings in relation to an application by Sunov Petroleum Pty Ltd under sections 657A and 657D for a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and final orders.
The Takeovers Panel has today published the reasons for the decision of the Panel in relation to an application by Sunov Petroleum Pty Limited dated 19 May 2004 in relation to the affairs of Novus Petroleum Limited.
The Panel advises that it has concluded the proceeding arising from the application from Skywest Limited dated 7 May 2004 alleging unacceptable circumstances in relation to the off-market takeover bid by CaptiveVision Capital Limited (CVC) for all the fully paid ordinary shares in Skywest.
The Panel has considered the application by Sunov Petroleum Pty Ltd dated 19 May 2004 alleging that unacceptable circumstances exist in relation to the affairs of Novus Petroleum Limited. It has decided not to conduct proceedings in relation to the Application.
On 21 May 2004, the Panel issued a Media Release concerning an application in relation to the affairs of Kaefer Technologies Limited. These reasons are substantively based upon the Panel’s comments in the Media Release.
These are our reasons for concluding proceedings in relation to the affairs of Data & Commerce Limited without making a declaration of unacceptable circumstances following the lodgement and dispatch of a supplementary prospectus by Data & Commerce Limited.
