The Panel announces that it has received an application from Sunov Petroleum Pty Ltd, pursuant to sections 657A and 657D of the Corporations Act 2001 for a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and final orders in relation to the affairs of Novus Petroleum Limited.

The Panel advises that it has concluded the proceeding arising from the application made by Radio Australia Pty Ltd and its associate Andros Nominees Pty Ltd on 30 April 2004 in relation to the affairs of Data & Commerce Limited.

The Panel announces that it has received an application from Gerald Francis Pauley and Gordon Bradley Elkington dated 12 May 2004 alleging unacceptable circumstances in relation to the affairs of Kaefer Technologies Limited (KAE).

The Panel has received an application from Skywest Limited (Skywest) dated 7 May 2004 alleging unacceptable circumstances in relation to the off-market takeover bid by CaptiveVision Capital Limited (CVC) for all the fully paid ordinary shares in Skywest.

The Panel announces that it has received an application from Radio Australia Pty Ltd and its associate Andros Nominees Pty Ltd (collectively, Radio Australia), pursuant to section 657A of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the Act) for a declaration of unacceptable circumstances in relation to the affairs of Data & Commerce Ltd (DCL).

The Takeovers Panel has today published the reasons for the decision of the Panel in the proceedings (Proceedings) relating to InvestorInfo Limited (INV).

The Proceedings arose from an application made on 23 January 2004 by Mr Gregory Bright, a shareholder of INV alleging that unacceptable circumstances arose as a result of a pro rata renounceable rights offer by INV.

The Takeovers Panel published the reasons for the decision of the Panel in the proceedings (Proceedings) relating to Village Roadshow Limited (VRL) on 7 April 2004. Since then certain erroneous references in the reasons have been brought to the Panel’s attention.

The Takeovers Panel has today announced that it proposes to review the existing Guidance Note 7 on Lock-up Devices.
