The Takeovers Panel has today published the reasons for the decision of the Panel in the proceedings (Proceedings) relating to Village Roadshow Limited (VRL).
The Proceedings arose from an application made on 23 January 2004 by VRL alleging that unacceptable circumstances arose as a result of alleged contraventions of section 672B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Act).
The Proceedings concluded following orders by the Panel, which were announced on 17 February 2004 in Panel media release TP04/13, available on the Panel’s website at: Media Releases
The Panel was Michael Tilley (sitting President), Andrew Lumsden and Denis Byrne.
