The Panel has declined to conduct proceedings on a review application received on 24 February 2011 from Tinkerbell Enterprises Pty Ltd and Ms Leanne Catelan in relation to the affairs of CMI Ltd. 

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has consented to the request of Alinta Energy Limited and Alinta Energy Services Limited as responsible entity for Alinta Energy Trust (Applicants) to withdraw an application to the Panel dated 7 March 2011.  The application related to the affairs of Alinta Energy Limited and Alinta Energy Trust (Alinta Energy).

The Panel today published the reasons for its decision on an application dated 6 January 2011 from Mr Gerry Pauley and Dr Gordon Elkington in relation to the affairs of CMI Limited.

The Panel has received an application from Alinta Energy Limited and Alinta Energy Services Limited as responsible entity for Alinta Energy Trust (Applicants). The application is in relation to the affairs of Alinta Energy Limited and Alinta Energy Trust (Alinta Energy).

The Takeovers Panel today upgraded its website.  The website includes information on making rules and public consultation that was previously contained in Guidance Note 3 Making Rules and Guidance Note 10 Public Consultation.  These Guidance Notes have therefore been withdrawn.

The Panel made a declaration of unacceptable circumstances on 22 February 2011 in relation to an application dated 6 January 2011 by Mr Gerry Pauley and Mr Gordon Elkington, in relation to the affairs of CMI Limited (see TP11/1 and TP11/15).
