Southern Cross is currently subject to a non-binding indicative proposal from a consortium comprising ARN Media Limited (ASX: A1N) (ARN) and Anchorage Capital Partners Pty Limited to acquire 100% of Southern Cross by way of a scheme of arrangement announced on 18 October 2023.

The Panel has accepted an undertaking from Emerald Resources NL (Emerald) in relation to the application dated 21 August 2023 by Mr Desmond Mullan in relation to the affairs of Bullseye Mining Limited (Bullseye) (see TP23/28).
In summary, Emerald has undertaken not to process any acceptances received under Emerald’s current takeover bid for Bullseye without the Panel’s consent.
