Magna Pacific (Holdings) Limited 03 & 04 - Panel Publishes Reasons

The Takeovers Panel has today published the reasons for its decisions in relation to:

• an application dated 12 April 2007 from Lionsgate Australia Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lions Gate Entertainment Inc (see TP07/17); and
• an application dated 17 May 2007 from Magna Pacific(Holdings) Limited (see TP07/27).

both in relation to the affairs of Magna Pacific and an off-market, cash takeover bid for Magna Pacific by Lionsgate.
