The Takeovers Panel advises that it has today published its Guidance Note 18 on Takeover Documents. The Guidance Note addresses the issues of "Wrap Information" and "Broker Valuations" in takeovers documents. The Panel published a draft of the Guidance Note for consultation late last year.
A copy of the Guidance Note is available on the Guidance Notes page of the Panel's website www.takeovers.gov.au.
The Panel would like to thank the members of the takeovers community who gave their time to sit on the Guidance Note 18 sub-committee. The Panel sincerely appreciates the input of the takeovers community in developing its Guidance Notes.
