The Takeovers Panel (the Panel) has today published the reasons for its decision to consent to the application (the Application) from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) dated 9 July 2004 alleging unacceptable circumstances in relation to the affairs of The Gribbles Group Limited (Gribbles) being withdrawn.
The reasons are substantially based upon the Panel’s comments in the Panel’s media releases TP04/60 and TP04/64, available on the Panel’s website at: Media Releases.
The sitting Panel was Meredith Hellicar (sitting President), Robyn Pak-Poy (sitting Deputy President) and Simon Withers.
