The Takeovers Panel advises that it has made a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and final orders in relation to one of two applications dated 3 April 2006 from The Australian Gas Light Company (AGL) in relation to the bid (AGL Offer) by AGL for Alinta Limited (Alinta) and the bid by Alinta Group Holdings Pty Limited for AGL (Alinta Offer).

The Panel advises that it has received an application dated 19 April 2006 from Anzon Australia Limited in relation to an off-market takeover offer for Nexus Energy Limited. Anzon seeks a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and final orders.

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has accepted an undertaking from Alinta Group Holdings Pty Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Alinta Limited) and Alinta Limited in relation to an application dated 3 April 2006 (see TP06/33) by The Australian Gas Light Company in relation to the bid by Alinta for AGL. On the basis of Alinta's undertaking to provide additional and corrective information, the Panel will conclude the proceedings.

The Panel makes the following statement in relation to an application which the Panel received on Saturday, 8 April 2006 from Toll Holdings Limited.

The Panel advises that it has received an application dated Saturday, 8 April 2006 from Toll Holdings Limited in relation to Patrick Corporation Limited's supplementary target's statement in response to Toll's revised bid and seventh supplementary bidder's statement of 22 March 2006. Toll seeks a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and final orders.

The Takeovers Panel makes this announcement in respect of two applications dated 3 April 2006 (see TP06/33) by The Australian Gas Light Company (AGL) in relation to the bid by Alinta Group Holdings Pty Limited for AGL and the proposed bid by AGL for Alinta.

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has decided not to make a declaration of unacceptable circumstances in response to an application dated 14 March 2006 from Rusina Mining NL (see TP06/26).

The Takeovers Panel advises that, in relation to the application by Patrick Corporation Limited dated 25 March 2006 (see TP06/29), it has declined the part of the application relating to the acceptability of the "Institutional Acceptance Facility" which Toll Holding Limited has established (Acceptance Facility).

The Takeovers Panel advises that it has received two applications dated 3 April 2006 from Australian Gas Light Company (AGL) in relation to AGL's bid for Alinta Limited (Alinta) and the bid by Alinta Group Holdings Pty Limited for AGL.

Further to the application made on 14 March 2006 by Rusina Mining NL (Rusina) (see TP06/26) and the interim orders made on 16 March 2006, the Panel advises that it has made a variation to the interim orders (see TP06/27) following an undertaking by New Frontier Investment Limited (New Frontier) to buy in an equivalent number of Rusina shares to replace shares which the Panel allowed to be used to settle the outstanding transactions.
