The Panel has consented to a request by Dampier Gold Limited to withdraw its application to the Panel dated 14 May 2014, in relation to its affairs. The application concerned bidder’s statement disclosure by Ord River Resources Limited in relation to its off-market cash and scrip bid for Dampier (see TP14/31).
On 11 June 2014, ASIC consented to the withdrawal of the bid and Ord River made an announcement to this effect.
The Panel is satisfied that it is not against the public interest to consent to the applicant withdrawing its application.
