The Takeovers Panel notes the reappointment of 13 members and the appointment of four new members to the Panel for terms of three years, effective 2 April 2026.
The following members have been appointed: Mr Justin Harris, Dr Jane McAloon AM, Ms Christine McLoughlin AM and Ms Antonella Pacitti. The President and the Panel executive warmly welcome the new members.
The following members have been reappointed: Ms Yasmin Allen AM, Ms Sylvia Falzon AM, Mr Joseph Fayyad, Ms Louise Higgins, Ms Kristen Jung, Dr Michael Lishman, Ms Rebecca Maslen-Stannage, Ms Emma-Jane Newton, Ms Diana Nicholson, Mr Neil Pathak, Mr James Stewart, Ms Erin Tinker and Ms Kate Towey.
The President and Panel executive acknowledges the significant contribution of the following members whose terms finished on 1 April 2026: Dr Ruth Higgins SC, Ms Michelle Jablko and Mr Christian Johnston.
The President also thanks Ms Michelle Jablko and Mr Christian Johnston for their contributions as Acting Presidents and congratulates Dr Ruth Higgins SC on her appointment as Solicitor-General.
The Panel now has 53 members all of whom are appointed on a part-time basis.
