The Panel today published the reasons for its decision on an application dated 29 April 2014 from Ochre Group Holdings Limited in relation to the affairs of Gondwana Resources Limited.
The Panel, Karen Evans-Cullen, Robert Johanson (sitting President) and Francesca Lee, consented to the withdrawal of the application dated 14 May 2014 by Dampier Gold Limited in relation to its affairs. The application concerned funding and disclosure in relation to an off-market bid by Ord River Resources Limited. The bid was withdrawn with ASIC’s consent.
The Panel has consented to a request by Dampier Gold Limited to withdraw its application to the Panel dated 14 May 2014, in relation to its affairs. The application concerned bidder’s statement disclosure by Ord River Resources Limited in relation to its off-market cash and scrip bid for Dampier.
The Panel has made a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and accepted undertakings in lieu of making final orders in relation to an application dated 29 April 2014 by Ochre Group Holdings Limited in relation to the affairs of Gondwana Resources Limited.
In response to an application dated 13 May 2014 from Norton Gold Fields Limited in relation to the affairs of Bullabulling Gold Limited, the Panel is of the view that unacceptable circumstances occurred in relation to Bullabulling’s letter to shareholders dated 30 April 2014 and target’s statement dated 14 May 2014.
The Panel has received an application from Dampier Gold Limited in relation to its affairs. Dampier is currently the subject of an off-market takeover bid by Ord River Resources Limited, announced on 29 April 2014.
