The Panel’s remade Procedural Rules1 and accompanying Procedural Guidelines take effect from today, 1 April 2021, and will apply in respect of all applications made on or after today’s date. The Panel’s remade Procedural Rules and accompanying Procedural Guidelines are available on the Panel’s website on the Procedural Rules page.
The Panel’s previous Procedural Rules (dated 1 June 2010) have now sunsetted.2 The previous Procedural Rules will continue to apply to an application made before 1 April 20213 and will remain available on the Procedural Rules page of the Panel’s website.
The Panel notes that it is currently updating the information on its website to ensure that the information aligns with the remade Procedural Rules and Procedural Guidelines. The Panel’s online system for lodging applications (as contemplated in the Procedural Guidelines) is currently unavailable. Applications to the Panel should continue to be sent by email to the Panel executive at takeovers@takeovers.gov.au.
