The Takeovers Panel today released a Consultation Paper seeking public comment in relation to a draft revised Guidance Note 2 on Reviewing Decisions.
The draft updates the Guidance Note and clarifies the timing and process for an application for review, including an application to obtain the President’s consent (if required). It also sets out policy considerations the President will apply in deciding whether to consent to a review.
The Panel seeks comments from interested persons on the draft Guidance Note by 15 April 2015. Comments should be emailed to takeovers@takeovers.gov.au.
