Gloucester Coal Limited 01R – Application for Review of Decision

The Panel has been served with an application to the High Court of Australia for judicial review of the Panel's decision to make a declaration of unacceptable circumstances and orders in relation to Gloucester Coal Limited 01R (see Media Releases TP09/30 and TP09/32).

The Application is by Noble Group Limited and Paway Limited, who have also applied to have the application remitted to the Federal Court under s44 of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth). Gloucester Coal Limited, Whitehaven Coal Limited and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission are also named as respondents.
